01 What is LinkedIn Queens
Queens is LinkedIn's daily logic puzzle. Each day LinkedIn publishes one board: a grid divided into colored regions where you place one queen in every row, every column, and every colored region, with no two queens touching. It became a hit because it is quick, elegant, and needs no numbers or words — just deduction.
The idea is simple, but LinkedIn gives you only one puzzle a day and locks past puzzles after twenty-four hours. When you finish today's board and want another, there is nowhere official to go.
That is why this site exists. Queens Game is an independent, free edition of the same one-queen-per-line idea, built for players who want to keep going. It is not the official LinkedIn puzzle and it is not affiliated with LinkedIn or Microsoft — it is a fan-made companion that gives you Queens puzzles whenever you want them.
02 How to play
- One queen in every row — exactly one per row, no exceptions.
- One queen in every column — exactly one per column too.
- One queen in every colored region — each region holds exactly one queen.
- No two queens touching — not horizontally, not vertically, and not diagonally.
The rules here are exactly the same as the LinkedIn version. Place one queen in every row, every column, and every colored region. No two queens may be adjacent — not horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. When all queens are placed legally, the board is solved.
The controls match too. Tap a cell once to place an X where a queen cannot go, tap again to place a queen, and tap a third time to clear it. Swipe across the grid to mark or clear several cells quickly. Placing a queen auto-Xs its row, column, region, and diagonal neighbors. Hints are unlimited if you get stuck.
